It is very special to be on the water during the magic sunset hours to watch whales and other wildlife. Listen to some examples of these hauntingly beautiful nighttime sounds: Common Pauraque, Northern Saw-whet Owl, and Barn Owl. It is always a treat hearing the amazing sounds of the northern resident orcas.
Here we offer a luxurious tour in the evening that enables you to visit three of the most iconic tourist attractions in Kyoto including world famous Fushimi Inari in four hours. We also will be listening to the whales via our hydrophone, a underwater microphone. Kyoto is the most famous tourist destination in Japan with plenty of wonderful sights to see. If time allows we also will spend some time watching and photographing birds, including bald eagles. Listen to Birds at Sunset, a song by Sleepy Times on TIDAL. Beside watching killer whales and humpback whales we will be still looking for other marine mammals like dolphins, sea lions and seals. Most likely we will be staying around Queen Charlotte Sound, Blackfish Sound and Johnstone Strait. We don't have to follow a schedule and also have the freedom to search for other whales which may be too far away for the bigger boats. We most likely watch the same whales as the bigger whale watching companies BUT we are flexible, only have a maximum of 4 people on board and we are closer to the water. We will leave in the late afternoon (roughly 3.5 hours before sunset) for this whale watching and marine wildlife tour.
